Max Lavrentovich

I'm currently an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My group works on a broad range of soft matter and biophysics topics, including spatial population genetics, structure and dynamics of lipid membranes and bacterial cells, and the dynamics of strongly driven systems. We have also recently worked on the dynamics of domain walls in ferroelectric materials.
